Xylazine was initially produced like a veterinary anesthesia. It had been first identified as an adulterant in heroin materials during the early 2000s. Though xylazine isn't an opioid, it induces opioidlike effects, like sedation, slowed heart rate and small pupils, just like the effects generated in people today by its pharmaceutical cousin clonid
